Statement of Solidarity from the Anti-imperialist Front
The Anti-Imperialist Front expresses its full and unwavering, solidarity with the comrades of the Partito del CARC and all those targeted by the recent repressive operations carried out by the Italian state in Naples and Florence.
The raids ordered under the direction of prosecutor Marco De Simone, invoking charges of “terrorism” and “apology of terrorism,” represent a grave escalation in the criminalization of political dissent. The use of Article 270 bis, long a tool for suppressing revolutionary and communist movements alongside vague accusations tied to speech and social media activity, exposes the deeply political character of this operation. These measures are not about justice, they are about intimidation, silencing, and dismantling organised resistance.

The coercive interrogations, conducted without legal counsel, and the broader climate of intimidation reflect the familiar methods of political policing used against militant movements across Europe and beyond. This is not an isolated event, but part of a broader pattern in which the state apparatus is mobilised to defend ruling class interests against the growing discontent of workers and popular sectors.
